Breath Meditation: Instant Relaxation
This technique is easy to use. It is a breath meditation lasting as long as ... one breath. There's meditation/awareness in every breath. But it's easy to forget when you're stressed, isn't it?
Please sit comfortably or lie down. Allow your shoulders to relax. Take a deep breath, s-l-o-w-l-y in through your nostrils. Feel the air coming in, your belly slowly rising. While you hold your breath for a couple of seconds, close your eyes. Now breathe out through your mouth. Exhale with relief - Ahhh... That felt good, didn't it? You may repeat as you wish.
