Choosing Your Attitude Wisely
A Perspective On War And Peace

This is a perspective on choosing your attitude, and the massive consequences your choice has on your health and family situation. It may read like fiction, but it's all based on science (internal) and history (external).

Enjoy...

Internal War And Cell Death

When you're angry or afraid and perceive external threats, your stressful fight-or-flight response is activated. This causes distress, which further activates the fight-or-flight response.

You can get caught up in a positive feedback cycle with horrible long-term consequences - depression and brain cell suicide.

Brain cells that fire together wire together. Let's simplify...

Through chemistry and electrical impulses anger, anxiety, hatred etc. spreads through the network of cells, causing communication break-down, brain cell suicide, and possible suicide of the entire collection of 100 trillion cells - the human being.

That is, if the internal war continues and peaceful resolution fails. How do you change this horrible feedback cycle?

You change your attitude. By choosing your attitude - one of love and compassion - your stop the feedback cycle. But you mustn't stop now. A spiraling feedback system - whether it's a global economy or a human being - needs continuous stimulus packages. So...

You must show compassion for yourself in order to stay happy.

The president of your state of mind is your own interpretation - your perception of reality. You are in charge. Choosing your attitude requires firm decision-making.

And most threats are simply created...

External War And Human Death

Politicians - the chief interpreters and decision-makers of a state of millions of minds - decide to attack and kill people. A war breaks out.

Through media networks and social networks, anger, anxiety, hatred etc. spreads out to the populations. Internal war breaks out. One mantra (point of focus) in conflict with another, e.g. war on terror vs kill the infidels.

Primates, stupid people. Anyway...

Politicians and media moguls, wired together and firing together, choose their attitude fueled with various (greedy) motives. They decide to continue fueling this horrible feedback cycle, causing more and more fear, anger, hatred, resentment...

Resulting in violence, death, and destruction. Internal and external war is now happening in unison.

This is what I call optimal MAL-adaptation. At this point, people have adapted to a designed environment, created by other, powerful interpreters (media/politicians). There's nothing natural about this. The president is no longer thinking straight, has lost his mindful freedom.

How can you stop and reverse this feedback cycle?

Well, now it's a bigger feedback system, right? A whole nation is involved from top to bottom. So there's a few choices...

  • You can become mindful and detach from the outpouring of media/primate stupidity and go on about your business. Relax...
  • You can of course allow this media-leash to be tightened around your neck and bark their designed cause.
  • Or you can unleash the power of compassion by choosing your attitude based on positive, smart focus and a powerful internal locus of control.

In the latter case, you'll wire together and fire together through love and compassion. This is the only antidote to distress, and the way to change your attitude and entire outlook on life. For the better, of course.

You could change your attitude by yourself. It certainly has a positive impact on you and your family because we're interconnected. There are peaceful families and marriages, and warring ones.

Let's not even go there...

Or potentially, if absolutely necessary, you could even start a national revolution. It has happened before, and history tends to repeat itself.

But choosing your attitude wisely starts a revolution within you. Ultimately, everything we do happens due to brain activity - even the human design and creation of 'God'.

From internal to external war and peace, the feedback cycle spins both ways but in opposite directions. And if you're not in control, Mr. President, someone else surely is. And they may not benefit from your true happiness.
