How do you define attitude? We're dealing with the mind. According to the Free Online Dictionary, the definition of attitude includes the following:

The definition of a positive attitude would therefore naturally boil down to: A positive state of mind or disposition. But how does that help you develop a positive attitude? Doesn't the definition of attitude lack precision and punch?

In meditation, in business, sports, and in life in general, attitude is crucial. Attitude governs and makes up your state of mind at any given time. Attitude is your outlook on life, it defines your perception of reality which is the world you live in.

So how do you develop a positive attitude?

A positive attitude is a result of a positive belief system founded on positive values. In the brain, reason and emotion interact. Positive reasons interact with positive emotions and vice versa.

The mind/brain is a feedback system. Distress is caused by feedback, and so is happiness. It's about adaptation, the moment-by-moment element of evolution.

A positive attitude causes, and is caused by, great adaptation.
